It seems like this is going to alternate between a cohesive entry and one that is random... Wednesdays tend to be more random... and I don't like getting out my camera in front of people who judge me, namely those who mentally think "oh there we go, typical Asian person taking photos of food". Seem to be getting a lot of that actually...*sad face*

Gigantic Domo Kun spotted! This was opposite Cafe Ish, which... we've kinda stopped going because there was this one day where their food was absolutely horrible. Not to mention, they lie about their karaage curry. There's no karaage in it at all, just stewed vegetables... disappointed! And their miso soup was way way way way too salty... did the chef even taste test it?? It's only a matter of adding more water! Anyway... when I took this photo, a passerby called out "domo kun!" :D

The inside of a fried bun... I don't tend to get them when I eat Shanghai food, even though it's a typical dish... it's just too filling and most restaurants make them really oily since they need to panfry the bottom to crisp it up. The skin is often too thick for my liking too... though Chef's Gallery used to make THE best fried bun... it was all soft and fluffy, unlike this type of skin here, which gets soggy... then they decided to change the menu and Chef's Gallery don't have that dish anymore.
Shall be a short one today, am completely exhausted from a full day of sessions... shall go sleep and post about baking spree 2 tomorrow.
